Research on the socio-economic status of journalists and other media professionals in Montenegro
The OSCE Mission to Montenegro and the Media Trade Union of Montenegro initiated the implementation of a comprehensive study which, in light of the Media Strategy 2023–2027, offers updated and expanded data on the socio-economic status of journalists and other media professionals. The research is part of the project “Journalists and Media in a Safe and Secure Environment” and includes quantitative survey research and qualitative focus groups, with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of working conditions, access to rights, feelings of personal security, professional pressures, and perceptions of trade union organization.
