About

High-school students from Ulcinj, Bar, Budva, Tivat, Kotor and Herceg Novi will take part in a debate on a campaign called “16 days of activism against gender-based violence” in order to raise awareness among students of the importance of the fight against domestic violence.

Participants will include debate clubs from the Danilo Kis and Stjepan Mitrov Ljubisa high schools. Debate clubs from other municipalities, police officials, and representatives of the Centre for Social Welfare and of the Gender Equality Department of the Ministry of Justice will also be invited.

The law on domestic violence and existing mechanisms for fighting domestic violence will be also discussed.
