About
The OSCE Mission to Montenegro Police Affairs Section is organising a short training course on profiling drug smugglers for eight officers of the Police Directorate/Border Police Sector and five from the Customs Administration.
The five-day training is designed to enhance the skills of officers at border crossing points (primarily Montenegro’s international airports) in detecting persons smuggling narcotics by using profiles of drug smugglers. The profiles are to be developed by the two law enforcement agencies.
The course, which will be presented by Swedish customs officers, Svante Hull and Patrik Pahlsson, who have successfully used profiling methods on daily basis, will comprise of two parts: presentation of knowledge and skills and sharing experience, and a practical exercise to be held at Tivat international airport.
