The OSCE Mission to Montenegro held the first in a series of three training courses for Montenegrin Senior Administration Management of the Parliamentary service, in co-operation with the Parliamentary Department for Human Resources, from 15 to 16 September 2016, in Podgorica.

The course focused on management and leadership skills gathering 14 participants from the parliamentary services. The experts led the participants through different management styles, differences between a manager and a leader, importance of setting goals, evidence-based management, motivation and the business culture concept.

The programme aims at increasing human resources capacities of the Parliamentary Services and focuses on strengthening senior management leadership, developing sustainable and modern structures, increasing the level of professionalism and fostering good governance standards.

The next course focusing on communication, for the same group of participants, will take place from 29 to 30 September 2016.
