OSCE Mission to Montenegro condemns deliberate damage done to official vehicle of public service broadcaster RTCG

PODGORICA, 31 July 2015 – The OSCE Mission to Montenegro today expressed concern over the recent damage done to a vehicle used by Rade Vojvodic, the General Director of the public service broadcaster RTCG.
As reported by the RTCG, the company vehicle in question was deliberately damaged by unknown perpetrators.
The OSCE Mission to Montenegro calls on the relevant law enforcement agencies to efficiently and promptly investigate the case and to disclose their findings in a timely manner.
The Mission reaffirms that the freedom of the media constitutes a fundamental principle of OSCE values and is an essential component of any democratic, free and open society, which must be protected by the authorities.
