About
The event also aims to promote the implementation of the Law on Gender Equality, which came into force in August 2007. Municipal gender equality focal points who took part in a first round of workshops in 2005, as well as representatives of local NGOs from the same municipalities, will participate.
The remaining events will take place in each of the mentioned municipalities and will engage municipal assemblies members (legislative power), municipal public servants (executive power) and representatives of local NGOs.
